Kerala a beautiful place also known as God's Country. The NGT (National Geographic Traveler) magazine included Kerala as one of the 10 paradises on the world. It is located at the south west region of India. It’s a beautiful state like a child who laughing on lap of Mother Nature. It’s surrounded by Karnataka to the north east, Tamil Nadu to the east and south and Lakshadweep Sea to west. The Thiruvananthapuram is the capital of Kerala. And it’s divided into 14 districts: -

Kasaragod Alappuzha Thiruvananthapuram Malappuram Ernakulam Thrissur Palakkad Kozhikode Kannur Kottayam Kollam Wayanad Idukki Pathanamthitta 


Now I tell you why Kerala trip become memorable. There are many places which gives you feel of heaven. Each district has many tourist places which are famous and beautiful. And also places have their own history, culture, art and significance. And one by one we explore each one.

Kasaragod is the northernmost district of Kerala. It’s globally famous for its hand-loom and coir.The many of rivers, hills, beaches, pilgrims and ancient architecture gives it a remarkable place in Kerala tourism. This District is famous for its Linguistic Culture because seven most important languages are spoken here. Total 9 rivers flow in this district. Some famous places in this district are:

Bekal fort: It is the biggest fort in Kerala. One railway station get name of this fort. it is about 300 years old fort is spread about  35 acre area. This fort comes under control of Archeological Survey of India. An old mosque is located very near the fort which is built by Emperor Tipu Sultan. The best season to go for this fort is summer and winter.

Parappa wildlife sanctuary:Parappa wildlife sanctuary home for jungle cats, wild pig, porcupine, turtles, peacock, butterflies, herbal plants. And this forest is famous for its greenery.

Bela Church:  it’s also known as Our Lady of Sorrows Church. it is a is a Roman Catholic church.It was built in 1880 and located at just 2 kilometers ahead of Seethamgoli in Kumbala-Badiyadukka road. The main beauty of this church is the tunnel under the courtyard. In a square pit, Jesus Christ in laying position having the crown of thorns in front of the Altar. 

Ananthapura Lake Temple:  It is a temple of lord Vishnu. It’s built in 9th century. It is about 5 km away from Kumbala.

Malik Dinar Mosque: The Malik Deenar Juma Masjid founded by Malik Ibn Deenar. Malik Ibn Dinar was first person who bring Islam in India in 624 AD. He is actually a businessman.but he did not only want to do business also want spread Islam in india.

Kammadam sacred grove wildlife sanctuary:  The total area of Kammadam Sacred Grove Wildlife Sanctuary about 50 acres. It is home of different kind of species like fox, jungle cat, butterflies, snakes, bats, lizard and birds.
